A Trick to Align Audio and Video on Xbox 360

One of the coolest features about the Xbox 360, is that if you have any video files on your computer or on a portable hard drive, you can stream them to your Xbox.  While 90% of the time the videos work great, occasionally the audio will be off.  You’ll hear a door slam, and then actually see it slam five or more seconds later.  If there is only a small difference between audio and video it’s still pretty watchable, but even then it’s annoying.

What I’ve found to be the best way to fix it is pause the video, then fast forward at 16x, then rewind at 16x back to where you first paused it from, and hit play.  I know it sounds weird, but it has worked for all three of the last videos I had where the sound was off.  Sometimes a simple fix is all it takes!

See Your Xbox LIVE Account All Grown Up

Were you under 18 when you made your LIVE account? I certainly was, and a few months ago I turned 18. Today I tried to download an M rated demo thinking, “Hey, Xbox should be nice enough to change the settings for me”, but, the truth is, they are instead very mean little critters. After digging around on the internet, I found how to upgrade your “child” account into an “adult” account.
